Security
How we protect your PDFs
Encryption in transit, account-scoped access, and clear deletion. Security is a product feature - not a slogan.
Encryption in transit
- All traffic to PDFTranslations uses HTTPS. Uploads and downloads are encrypted between your browser and our servers.
- We do not offer a non-TLS production endpoint for document transfer.
Storage and access
- Documents are stored in object storage tied to your account (or guest session until you sign in).
- Access is authenticated for dashboard documents. Shared or public enumeration of other users’ files is not part of the product design.
- Delete from the dashboard removes the document from your account permanently for that file.
Translation processing
- Files are processed only to produce your translation and related product features (progress, download, page balance).
- We use infrastructure providers under contract for compute and storage. See Privacy for data-handling details.
Accounts and sessions
- Sign-in uses email magic links or Google OAuth.
- You can sign out of the current device or other sessions from Settings.
- Login alerts can be enabled in notification preferences.
Report a security issue
- If you believe you found a vulnerability, email support@pdftranslations.com with steps to reproduce. Do not upload customer documents as proof unless necessary.
